VEGA Grieshaber KG presents instruments for level, limit level and pressure measurement as well as related services and software.

plics®plus – The consistent further development of a successful concept
The instrument concept plics® is based on a modular system. Housings and process fittings are freely combinable and there is a standardized adjustment system for all instruments. With this ingenious concept, VEGA has been simplifying the world of measurement technology already since 2003. But now, a good thing is getting even better: the proven instrument concept is being developed further and equipped with many new features. Look forward to plics®plus.

VEGAPULS – Radar even more powerful
VEGA is introducing with plics®plus a new antenna system for process temperatures up to 450° C. There are also antennas with higher chemical resistance. Fast new microprocessors provide more computing power for signal analysis and enable complex processing algorithms. This opens up new possibilities especially for applications under difficult measuring conditions, as in reactors or bulk solids silos. At the same time, setup and commissioning was further simplified and new application parameters added to make simple adjustment possible even with complex applications.

VEGAMIP – Reliable point level detection under rough conditions
The new plics®plus microwave barrier VEGAMIP is implementable for minimum as well as maximum detection. It is particularly suitable for rough operating conditions because it is not impaired by strong dust generation or changing product temperatures. Even changing product features like density, granulation, dielectric figure, humidity and conductivity hardly affect VEGAMIP.

Nucleonic measurement with ProTrac
Special application areas require special solutions. For some applications, no alternative to nucleonic measurement has been found to this day. Extreme temperatures, high process pressures and extremely difficult mounting conditions represent a challenge that only non-contact nucleonic measurement can overcome. Several different detector versions make the ProTrac instruments so flexible that they can be adapted to the most difficult measurement tasks whenever required.

Remote data transmission with PLICSMOBILE
Measured value transmission, remote diagnosis or teleservice can be handled via quadband technology worldwide over the public telephone network. The new PLICSMOBILE with standard SIM card can be integrated into the plics®plus double-chamber housing – either together with the sensor or in a separate housing with accumulator or battery. Areas of application are e.g. mobile silos, deep wells, high containers, waste oil gathering points as well as river and sea levels.
