Storage of fillers
Aggregates are stored intermediately in silos. Lots of dust is generated when the chambers are filled. Depending on consistency of the aggregates, the shape of the piles formed can vary greatly and the properties of the bulk solids themselves can also be quite different from batch to batch.
Level measurement with VEGAFLEX 61
VEGAFLEX 61 is the ideal solution for continuous measurement in aggregate silos up to approx. 10 m (33 ft) high. By virtue of the guided microwave measuring principle (TDR), adjustment with product is not necessary. Since the instrument comes already factory-adjusted, set-up involves only electrical connection. The measuring results are influenced neither by product quality nor dust generation, nor by the shape of the material heap.
Overfill protection with VEGAVIB 62
VEGAVIB 62 provides additional protection against overfilling of silos. The flexible suspension cable avoids mechanical loads that arise through material flow. Set-up does not require a filling. Since VEGAVIB 62 has practically no moving parts, it is not subject to wear and tear.
